Meeting House

The "Meeting House" was built in 1877 and was home to a family of 9 people. Prior to the building of the church, a traveling minister would come to the community and church meetings would be held in a local home. (All of the children of this large family slept in what would today be called the attic. It was unheated and was entered only by using a ladder nailed to the outside of the building.)
